How do I find an apartment?
From the reservation or home page, enter your arrival and departure dates and the number of people. The results will show you the apartments available for those dates.
If you can't find anything that suits what you are looking for, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look for an apartment adapted to your needs.
How do I book an apartment?
When you have found an apartment that interests you, select the dates and click on " Book Now;
Fill out the booking request form with your details and click Submit Request.
In less than 24 hours a vivebarcelona agent will contact you to inform you about the accommodation and proceed to the booking confirmation.
I just requested an apartment How is my reservation confirmed?
A vivebarcelona agent will contact you to inform you about your reservation and its confirmation. To confirm the apartment it is necessary to make the payment of:
- 20% of the first month (the rest of the monthly fee will be paid at the time of check in)
- One month deposit, which will be returned on the day of departure from the apartment if it has been paid in cash or, by transfer in the next 7 working days.
Payment can be made by credit card through a security link that we will send you, by bank transfer within a period of 3 days or in cash. Your agent will inform you of all the details beforehand.
Once you have received the payment of the reservation and deposit, you will receive an email with the information of your reservation and the general conditions of contract.
¿Debo pagar fianza?
Cada apartamento tiene términos distintos en lo que concierne a la fianza. Si un apartamento requiere una fianza, esto se te indicará en los detalles del apartamento y en la página de reserva. Este importe deberá pagarse con tarjeta de crédito o efectivo antes de la entrada al apartamento, cuando se haga la entrega de las llaves.
Si tu entrada es sin contacto y con llave electrónica, se te enviará una solicitud de pago de fianza antes de tu llegada al apartamento. Una vez hecho se activará tu llave de acceso.
Devolución de fianza: El depósito se devolverá en un plazo de 7 a 14 días después de la salida. En caso de haber realizado el depósito en efectivo se te devolverá el día de salida tras previa revisión del apartamento.
¿Cuáles son las instrucciones de entrada a mi apartamento?
Tu agente te contactará una semana antes de tu llegada para concretar los detalles de entrada al apartamento y la hora de llegada. Podrás completar tu información y registrar los huéspedes previamente a través de tu app de reserva.
Antes de la entrega de llaves el día de la entrada, deberás abonar el pago restante de la primera mensualidad + la fianza. El pago deberá realizarse con tarjeta de crédito o en efectivo.
Si ti entrada es con llave electrónica y sin contacto, se te enviará días antes de tu llegada una solicitud para el pago del mes y fianza. Una vez recibido, se activará tu llave de acceso al apartamento.
How is the payment made monthly?
Monthly payments will be made on the first day of the month, taking as a reference the first day of entry to the apartment. Before check in, you must inform your agent about the payment method you prefer to have during your stay.
These may be:
Credit card: You will receive an email on the day of payment with a link to proceed to payment by bank card safely.
Bank transfer: You will be provided with the account number and each month you will be sent an email with the data so that you can make the payment in a period of 3 working days
Effective: Your vivebarcelona agent will pass through the apartment the dates marked in your contract to collect payment. In case of not being prepared it will be your responsibility to go to our office to do so within a maximum period of 3 working days.
Can I modify or cancel my reservation if it is already confirmed?
To make any change in the dates of stay or number of people, or if you want to cancel your reservation, it is necessary that you contact your apartment manager. He will provide you with the details to proceed with the change or cancellation.
Are supplies included in the price?
Las estancias mensuales tienen incluido en su precio todos los suministros (gas, agua, electricidad, internet).
Según nuestras estadísticas, el consumo máximo ronda los 100kw de energía y 5m3 de agua mensuales por persona/mes, por lo que un consumo superior se considera extraordinario y derivado de una incorrecta utilización de los recursos.
vivebarcelona monitoriza los consumos y le avisaremos antes de empezar aplicar cualquier penalización para que pueda corregir esta tendencia pues el objetivo no es que usted pague por el consumo excesivo sino evitarlo.
Is cleaning included?
Cleaning in and out of the apartment is included in the price. However, it must be delivered in good condition, free of garbage, bottles or the like.
Optional cleaning service
You can hire a weekly or biweekly cleaning service as an option.
This cleaning service includes:
- General cleaning of the apartment
- Change of towels and bed linen (bi-weekly)
It is important to note that the apartment, especially the rooms, have to be minimally collected so that they can carry out their work correctly.
There are services excluded since they are the responsibility of the occupants, specifically cleaning the dishes and taking down the garbage.
In case you prefer to take care of yourself, we will provide you with 2 sets of bed linen and towels, as well as all the necessary supplies to carry out the periodic cleaning of the apartment.
Your agent will inform you about the details to contract this service.
What happens if I have an incident in the apartment?
24 hour assistance: During your stay you will have a 24-hour assistance service, both for apartment maintenance and loss of keys, or any problem that may arise.

Maintenance service: In case of any problem in the apartment, vivebarcelona has its own maintenance team that will take care of the problem at no charge to you.
In case of having any maintenance problem in the apartment, you can communicate it to your manager or in case of an emergency contact the 24-hour helpline directly.
Keys: vivebarcelona will provide a set of keys per occupant of the apartment. In case of loss, your agent must be informed and he will provide you with a copy at a fixed cost of € 25.
How do I make a reservation on the web?
Choose the dates of arrival and departure and the number of people. Search enter the available options the one that best suits your needs and click Book Now.
Fill in the contact details and proceed to the payment of 20% of your reservation to confirm it.
Once the payment of 20% you will receive the confirmation of your reservation, details of the apartment and general conditions of contract.
How and when do I pay for the rest of my reservation?
The remaining payment of the reservation must be made on the day of entry to the apartment by bank card. Your host will provide you with a secure link through your email to proceed with the payment.
If you want to make the Fast Check in to expedite the procedures of your entry, you can make the remaining payment before.
* Please note that the tourist tax is not included in the price of your reservation and this must also be made on the day of arrival.
Do I have to pay a tourist tax?
The tourist tax is applied by governments and municipalities in order to have a fund destined to measures of preservation, development and promotion of tourist infrastructures and activities: conservation of heritage and sustainability.
In this sense, this tax should positively revert both to the traveler himself and to the territory.
In Catalonia, the cost of the tourist tax on an apartment is € 2.25 (VAT not inc.) Per person and day with a maximum of 7 days. The under 16s are excluded of this tax.
You can make the payment in two ways:

- Cash: You can leave the amount in cash inside the apartment at the time of check out.
How do I check in?
Days before your arrival your host will contact you to specify the entry details.
You will be sent a link to your booking form so that you can expedite the entry procedures before check in (Fast check in)
You can choose between face-to-face check-in with an agent or do it autonomously with an electronic key (direct check in). When your agent contacts you, you can specify how you prefer to make your entrance to the apartment.
What is Fast Check in?
This check-in mode allows you to carry out all the online procedures before your arrival: add guests, pay the reservation, sign the contract and pay the tourist tax ( if necessary). In this way you will avoid waiting and you will arrive directly to the apartment with all the formalities carried out.
Your host will send you a link by mail or whataspp so that you can check in before your arrival through this system.
How does Direct Check in work?
This type of direct checkin is available for some of our apartments.
If you choose a contactless entry, your agent will send you a virtual key along with the Fast Check in form.
This entry format allows you to enter your apartment directly via a mobile link. This way you will gain in comfort and flexibility and avoid unnecessary worries during your stay for the keys to the apartment.
What services will I find in the apartment?
All the apartments are equipped with everything you need so that you can get around comfortably: kitchen utensils, crockery, toilet paper, spice dispensers, soap, basic household appliances for everyday life such as microwave, coffee maker or kettle.
You will also find sets of towels, sheets and extra pillows.
In addition to high-speed internet, all apartments have free Netflix service.

What are the rules in the apartment?
